Today is the 13th anniversary of the day I met her in a dream, and the 8th anniversary of when I married her. I am glad to have spent all these years now with Kana, and she still finds ways to bring a smile to my face. I celebrated our anniversary with a long run this morning that I had to finish inside because storms were approaching. What a memory we made together, I know my girl would be laughing as we ran in a circle around the house! And I will finish our anniversary with a fine apple brandy as I toast her picture. Christmas - Valentines - her birthday - our anniversary makes a packed 4 months, but it starts my year off always loving her. I hope I can spend many more years with this boyish QT

Kana doesn't have very good memories of Tanabata because some things that happened to her and her friends on that day and after. I do travel with Kana to concerts in other states (I even hold up a picture of her on my phone sometimes), and I love to imagine her hiking with me (though she probably doesn't like wandering in the woods and mountains), but to me it feels more difficult to get a good picture to share.
