Why does everyone look so poor in Victory? Like, there's barely any of the glam or tech that defined earlier UC works. Everyone dresses and lives like it's the Great Depression. They're all stuck in dilapidated buildings or decaying commie-blocks. The only thing that seems more advanced than the modern day is the military tech.
