The subversion of the subversion isn't even that terrible on paper but it's executed badly. Apparently the gap in the defenses only appears for a second and they can only exploit it because Adam Strange feeds them information. But at the end of the day, the Justice League is simply far too powerful compared to a man in a jetpack with a ray gun and some stone people and some lizardfolk with spears. And nobody can catch Adam leaking the information because. And Mr. Terrific learns a language out of thin air because. He spends half an issue with Alanna and Adam begging the stone people for help, an entire month where Rann didn't have their two best fighters in a full blown war just so Alanna can then say this shit. It's pathetic. It just makes no sense, just how these pykkt invaders are supposed to be "honorable fighters" or some shit.
