great camera, amazing lightning and striking shadows because of it. the over the shoulder viewpoints were pretty damn cool and the movie communicated a lot of emotions through just the visuals. ironically i think it would be even better on a second viewing, because the disturbing scenes didnt just disturb the character, but myself as well. as an avid viewer, the progression is somewhat predictable, but i cant fault the movie for being straight and true. if anything i enjoyed it as well. i dont think i've seen any other rock hudson movies and will seek some out in the future.
