you sound like a huge miserable faggot. the whole premise of being a hobbyist is not caring as much about a goal as you do about the process of reaching a goal. it's like mechanics that have project cars, if they wanted to just simply have an operating car, they'd get one that already fucking works, but that's not the point. even if the "goal" of the project car is for it to be operational, but the actual substance of the pursuit is the process of getting it to that point and what you learn or improve upon along the way there.
what amazes me most is that a retard like you could sit here and pretend like you're above them or that you even understand them or that somehow they "effortlessly dismissed" get your head out of your ass, life is meant to be enjoyed. i'd rather know a bunch of people with that archetype than whatever archetype a joyless retard like you embodies.
