The Wimbledon qualifying wildcard playoffs are under way and there are two places available to fight for in this mini-tournament.

Katie Swan coasted to victory in her opening match and will next play Allegra Korpanec Davies, who won her opener in straights and may have earned a few crumbs of affection from Jaroslava in doing so.

14 year old Megan Knight, already signed to IMG, won 6-4 7-5 against ITF hack Naiktha Bains, who is nearly twice her age. In the top half, Brooke Black continued her lousy form by losing 7-5 7-5 despite leading with a break in both sets.

Knight plays ex college player Angelica Blake next, with the winner of that to face Swan/Korpanec Davies.
