At first this bothered me, but I'm kinda ok with it. I like not feeling pressured to play the game. I'm actually glad we're not getting another Ultimate in 7.3 because my mid-core static is tired of raiding 5-6 days a week as we worked through Fork Tower on top of Savage.
Too bad the mindset of players is that they have to do all the things RIGHT NOW which kills content 1-2 months after release.

After seeing DT singlehandedly kill my FC, I definitely agree with this. But then I step back and take a look at all the content the game does offer. Leveling alt jobs, normal raids/trials, alliance raids, Island Sanctuary, Criterion, Gold Saucer mini games and Triple Triad, treasure maps, Eurkea/Bozja, PotP/HoH, and a bunch of other stuff I'm missing. And I know so many people who have never touched any of it nor have a desire to which makes me wonder: What do causals even want?
Please tell me. I legit want to know.

At first, I would say we can't blame all of CAR on Mr. Ozma. From my experience, most players do not have the mentality to learn like 6 major mechanics and bail the moment they realized they can't be a shitter and still get dragged across the finish line. But then I remembered the body checks and fuck that.
Fork Tower has the same fucking problem. 1 person's mistake (legitimate or even a fucking disconnect) can kill an entire run.
>no live translations of LLs
This is so fucking stupid. I have no idea how 10+ years later we'll still relying on fan translations for critical information outside of fanfest. No wonder the community's expectations are fucked all the time.
>new relic is too grindy
The atma drop rate is shit, but it's a one time deal. After that, weapons are just given to you via tomes which you get from just playing the game. I don't see this as being grindy.
