I spent 300$ I really shouldn't have recently on this wolf.

Are humans the only species of animal that commits ritual murder of their deities?
I can't imagine any other animal doing that. Taking their angels, their prophets, their gods. Clutching them by their wings and slamming them down onto the altar. Butchering them. Sawing through bone and marrow, ripping out their entrails. Soiling the ground and their white robes with blood and contempt, recipients of their faith turning into beasts for maddened slaughter. Do chimpanzees do this, primates who also wage war? Dolphins, who murder for sport?
Or is it just us, are we the only ones who contradict ourselves by intentionally destroying what we hold dear? Why do others do it? That I cannot do it, am I not human? Watching someone gut my own seraphim despite my laboured pleas only makes me want to turn that blade on myself.
