Common misconception.

Introverts can be told apart from narcissists because they virtually never put themselves in situations where they lose control of their emotional stability.

Narcissists do; very frequently.

A narcissist will drink and drive, whereas an introvert will pretty much never.

They do have a lot of overlapping features, though the motivations are very different. For example, a narc wants narcisssitic supply and delusional attention to help construct their temporary personality.

An introverts wants honest input about the structure of their ego.

Both annoying, but ateologically distinct.
