Also Miriam the portalcraft card is their daughter. In Bahamut you raised her and could pick which faction you wanted her to be in. Forte wanted to raise her to be strong enough to be worth fighting at her full potential. Miriam refuses to reach her full potential because she doesn't want to fight her mom.
