I can't believe Infinity Evolved killed the game already

Anyone else have a craft they REALLY like aesthetically, but hate their gameplay?
For me it's forestcraft.
When I was initially starting out in shadoba way back in the day Selwyn was a leader you could get for I think 1000 gold and I loved his looks.

Unfortunately forest never really clicked with me.
I hate the combo mechanic and the little fairies are lame. Old art especially so.
It just never lived up to the fantasy for me.

I wish forest was more along the lines of runecraft with kill orders and whatnot, makes a lot of sense for the hunter to be prepared too. Dirt is kinda like scavenging in a way.
On the flipside there was Mordekai too who was everything I expected him to be and then some. Stuck with me for many years.

You can just keep going. This is the best I could muster after a long time. (This includes the starter deck.)
I also have one with Orchis and one with Daria.
Not sure which one I'll stick to long term... Puppets are fun and Orchis is the best animated leader of the 3.
Daria looks like dogshit, much worse than expected, but spellboost is fun and probably the most versatile in the long run.
Albert is cool, but sword feels underwhelming (I know I don't have full decks for either, but I can already see the same old patterns from SV1.)
Highly tempted to go either the path of the puppet or the path of the mage instead.

Remember to use friends codes, with that you get around 30~ pulls on the main box each reroll.
Automate with an emulator as much as reasonable. (I only do the account creation and the tutorial skip.)

It's honestly laughable how horrible Ginsetsu is. 9 playpoint, mediocre effects, no evo or super evo. I genuinely don't understand what's even idea behind this card and their vision for the Abyss. Unless their vision is that abyss just have to stay dogshit. This card doesn't fit into the current mid range Abyss, because it's too expensive and your only real winning line in the midrange abyss is early cheap damage+ double grave + Cerberus, so if you're setting up this play in particular you won't even have enough board space for Ginsetsu to work. I also don't understand why all classes except abyss have their cheesy half hp finishers from no board presence, while for abyss you need to waste turns setting up your play. It's too fair for a game with so many overpowered and unbalanced cards.

Remaining legendaries will likely be related to blood, or bats, leaning into aggro playstyle, therefore would also find no place in the midrange or control. But the thing is, what would even be the point playing mediocre rng dependent aggro abyss deck, when dragon aggro exist

You are playing the mirror. Every hand thats not Climb its garbage, they are not gonna aggro you even in the worst of scenarios. I would only consider keeping Anne on the draw to maybe, maybe, do a damage check against their turn 5. You got lucky anyways.

I dont hate just sagelight heal. You dont care much about burning cards in Rune when you have a Kuon or Satan so drawing is fine but thing is you are playing Anne next turn and you already have climb so drawing Kuon or Satan later its the same. Anne assures Homework to be at 4 and then its trivial to draw for 1. You are basically optimizing mana while also reducing the chance of not burning a relevant card.

Lost on the spot. There is a graphic in magic that however spends more mana wins more on average. Miranda here is a weak play by infinite of reasons.

1)It makes you less flexible later turns, Miranda can always be played as a filler later when you have more mana and the effect is never lost with Climb. Anne costs 5 so it will always always be awkward to use, especially later on the game goes and the ward doesnt serve much purpose in the mirror where you might want to sandbag it.

2)Anne makes your demonic cheaper hence making your destroyer cheaper, its an entirely different game next turn if you can dump your hand. Rune has a trouble too of drawing too many cards so we look chances to just dump your hand

3) Answer check, does Anne stay on board? You win. Can they answer? Most likely but play your outs.

Also please evolve, it affects like 4 cards here.

The control abyss decks generally win not with cerb achieving lethal, but by outlasting the opponent's evo points until finally putting too much value on the board for the opponent to keep up with via value plays that don't need evo points. Ginsetsu arguably fits into this gameplan. But control abyss' problems are:
>Rune and Roach can can steamroll right over you since they're capable of comboing out for a OTK in the later turns.
>control abyss is too slow to stabilize. Outside of the rune/roach matchups, the odds of winning gradually improve once you reach turn 5+ and can start dropping abyss' leggos. If you don't understand that crafts don't have the same resource generation and innate card value then I'm not sure what to tell you. Something like Sword gets much more value out of their cards than other crafts and that's offset with worse draw. Something like Forest and Rune have more draw but in general have cards that need to be used in conjunction with each other to function properly.

If you're playing artifact you'd always want to keep 1 striker, 1 castle and 2 gears at all time. But if you start putting puppets into the deck your hand will overflow, and ideally early game you always want to keep the puppets instead of gears that do nothing until Alouette.
Put Resurgence into that and unless you have 2 parts to throw out you can't even use it so it's rotting in your hand, and there's no guarantee that those 2 parts are what you want in that situation even if you can throw them out.

Hello friends any tips on reading dragon decks?
I keep getting caught off guard because sometimes it looks like aggro but then they drop the ward lady and burnite so I think its ramp.
So then I prepare to play around genesis dragon by playing wards but THEN they shark me to death.
Of all crafts I find myself misplaying agianst them a lot since I don't know what to expect half the time.

Amelia+Luminous is an extremely difficult board for most crafts to deal with. They either need very specific outs, or using multiple cards to clear it, or both in one. The end result is usually that the enemy has to commit so much that the sword player now has an immense card advantage over them and is likely to win the game a few turns later even if they manage to clear the board.
