The universe grasps beyond its immediate conditions towards novel possibilities.
Life grasps beyond its immediate conditions towards the possibility of sustenance.
Consciousness grasps beyond its immediate conditions of knowledge and experience towards The Unknown.
Creativity is intrinsic to existence by necessity. Otherwise there'd be no time, and thus no existence. Time isn't a "dimension" everything "travels in" but the creative advance of the universe.
