VHS and local anime channel for me, quintessential 90s experience and most millennials would have gone through this path. Watching anime via YT is for mid-late zoomers, I remember a Thai guy was exuding his mediocre power level around early 2010s anime boom era but it seems like he became a somebody, not that I give a damn.
