alright guys I need help - I'm nearly ready to start work on my custom Inquisitorial Gun-Cutter

to some extent I'm venturing away from the only known example of its design (pic related) in some areas.. one thing I really want to use but cannot figure out is the nose.

obviously I'll have to scratch build it but I wouldn't even know where to start with a weird angled/rounded bit like that. if anyone has suggestions please let me know.
