I was thinking something like this might happen. With an $80 price point, only a few games are going to sell well. If you look at the PS5, when they increased prices to $70 you saw a lot of big games fail to sell well. The fact that a decent amount of third parties are going with the shitty key cards doesn't really help things. I'm thinking the successes on Switch 2 are mainly going to be Nintendo games like Pokemon and Mario with everyone else getting table scraps.
