It really, really is not very difficult, Bethesda just can't help themselves with trying to come up with a gimmick to make players play their games for literal eternity which fucks up their entire fucking game (which is ironic because their games have fucking horrid replayability due to their twenty minute intros and unskippable in-game cutscenes)
In conclusion: Give Fallout to a competent studio
