I hope you guys realize that these statements have never been more false than you could ever imagine... Maybe I'm speaking out of line here, but I'm sure you're parents wouldn't want you to live your lives suffering like this, and instead they would wish for you guys to overcome your trial and tribulation and to finally live your life to the fullest with peace and happiness in mind.

That's something I believe everybody deserves, and something everybody can achieve, and that includes you guys as well, so don't give up hope on actualizing that reality, keep pushing forward and continue to believe in victory no matter how pointless or despairing the situation may get, and you'll make it out OK and it'll all be absolutely worth it in the end.
