But it's just another symptom of the huge problem: HSR's deceptive marketing and how it will always prioritize pandering over organic writing. This company dedicates thousands into commissions, ads, merch that cater to fujos everyday. They dedicate entire patches to get them into their homobait. Do people not expect them to gloat and believe their ship is important and "approved" by the company after seeing this? Hoyo wants this to happen. The problem starts when they put too much effort into feeding fujos when it doesn't even matter to the story. And Phaidei isn't even the first time they did this, we already saw it with Ratiorine.

If people knew how long and demanding it is to make throwaway cutscenes and unique assets for an RPG game they would've understand the rationale of reusing assets

Devs wank Harmony too hard, giving them the most overloaded and egregious kit without any care for balance.
I know people hate Sunday here but his kit is absurd. Robin, Tribbie…
And let’s not forget those fuckers have access to DDD, the most OP cone you can ask for in a turn based game.
So again, why are Nihility BALANCED around fucking Pela 2 years later while Harmonies enjoy a never ending cycle of more and more power for free?
Easier to build, cheaper to get to work, do more damage, give more total damage amplification, even have fucking debuffs now… like Harmony is genuinely the biggest problem this game has.
As for DoT I don’t believe anymore, I’ll still invest in the next big DoT unit but I’m not having any hopes or dreams about it. I still haven’t digested how SHIT Black Swan kit is but it was not obvious to normies because back then enemies were easy to kill. And I am also still mad they nerfed Cipher. Yes she is good, but she could have been better and we know if she was a Harmony tranny she wouldn’t have gotten such a nerf and if she did get a Robin like nerf, it’s because her kit was beyond fucking busted.
