I'll be honest. The only reason cat is actually a good investment is, because she is able to be played fully SP positive without losing anything. She generates you a lot of SP, so others can slurp and be stronger.

Every other support will cost you SP. Being +1 every turn and also having 170+ speed would gimp you hard. You know why Pela was always considered so much better than SW? Because she, too, can be played like this to an extend. It's just that due to the nature of debuffs, she'd quickly lose efficiency. Enemy dies, next one comes and your debuff is gone. Still, she usually can be. And SW can't be. That's a fact. And that's why SW simply has no value until e1 at the earliest, where her ult uptime becomes Pela tier.
But even then SW is essentially just a slightly better Pela, and cat is quite a bit better than Pela. SW NEEDS her skill to be competitive. That needs SP. And that SP is frankly speaking not worth spending on ONE enemy getting such a relatively minor debuff.

If you like SW, she's more usable than before, but the big flaws of her kit are still all there. The reason why people say Nihility suck, is still all there. She's no cat, that just by existing amps the damage of the enemy and records damage for her true damage ult. SW relies on actual debuffs, that get removed by phase changes or new enemies appearing which HURTS if you need to skill AND ult to get them back.

bounce -> aoe on his big move is a joke. ackeron didn't care because the bounce was 72 total and the aoe was 300 (true aoe). phainon's bounce is 720 total and the aoe is 450 st (fake aoe since it's split up among all targets). you really don't want to waste the bounce on shitty adds, it should have been aoe -> bounce like argenti or rice

stack cap makes him very awkward to use. you can only ever bank one big move and you have 8 turns in the ult so you don't have a lot of freedom in picking moves. idk why the cap is 7, just make it 8

I would go for more EHR to land the debuff. If not using sig, you kinda have to build so much speed already that your damage suffers. And you want to guarantee applying pearls debuff for Acheron energy. You can technically cope with less since can't reapply pearls and she attacks 2x per turn, so fua can save you if you wiff on the basic. But often you can attack a different target and then use the fua on the boss to apply 2x pearls anyway. Plus if you buy the BP cone next patch, then you always want the ehr to apply the debuff. So I would aim for the 67% ehr.

Hyacine S1 is probably the best one now, with S1 Aventurine pulling ahead if you have lots of enemy attacks. If you don't have sigs, then I would go for Gallagher or Trend Gepard. And then Trend other preservations, they are better at sustaining but don't have Gepard's aggro trace.

I used Trend Gepard with Acheron before, and he worked really great there. Especially if you have E1 and some EHR, with spare SP he can just freeze an add to give +1 energy to Acheron, no other sustain has a debuff on their skill. Also it sometimes works on bosses, freezing the titan of strife never stops being funny. But I haven't used Gepard since 3.0, and even then his shield was sometimes breaking before ult is back up. Feels like the damage of enemies have been increasing, so not sure how well he holds up now. Probably great against Hoolay since he attacks so often and has a 66% chance to target Gepard, but all the aoe on flamereaver might let some supports get low on hp.

This event is so random, smack dab in the middle of the Amphoreus arc, a few weeks into the patch, just this random Penacony racing thing out of nowhere. It almost feels like they were just really excited about the new Mario Kart game and wanted to make their own in HSR. The timing is too convenient and the animations aren't particularly fancy, it's pretty much all reused assets. So I think it makes sense that they whipped this up at the last minute.
Though, I'm not complaining. I always like when they incorporate a bunch of different types of gameplay in this game. Just battling all the time would get really old. But it definitely feels a lot more last-minute than Seal Slammers.
