I really do like Puzzles and enemies that feel like puzzles. Dark Souls is overall far more combat focused. It's puzzles are typically "Fight through a gauntlet to flip a switch" or "Is this jump is safe?". Since we're already at a higher difficulty floor for combat in games like Elden Ring, I would love to see parts of the dungeons have some moderately difficult contraptions to sort out. The only really good puzzle in Elden Ring I can think of off the top of my head is figuring out how to kill the Chariot traps in certain Dungeons, and the difficulty in that wasn't really about finding a solution but about getting the timing right so you don't die.

Also, a big difference is that over the course of a Zelda game, I really look forward to having "Saved the World" as it's full of these characters I've come to like. In Dark Souls the world is kind of shit, the people I like all died, and all my remaining friends are kind of assholes, so you end up taking things like Age of Darkness or Frenzied Flame because it's probably for the best that we did a hard reset at this point.
