anon, random lifespans on services that can be killed off completely at random is very legal in america. it's basically in every single contract ever, and not just tv, or video games, but your internet, or job too. america is a legitimate corporate hellscape. back in 2011 there was this movement called "occupy wallstreet", it was about the poor and middle class rising up together to pushback on the 1% ruining the country. it was infiltrated by the government in weeks, and led to weapons manufacturers sponsoring pride month, and black lives matter. a class war was instantly converted into a race and culture war that is still going to this day. leftwing america was transformed into a violent political arm of corporations and bankers in the blink of an eye, and to this day they fight in favor of modern day slavery. it's legitimately insane.
