Don’t do this in Massachusetts. I do HVAC in Massachusetts and you will be paying out the fucking ass to have anyone work on any kind of “unusual” residential unit. Like a ground source unit for example. I’ve never even seen one of those European air to water heat pumps here. What you should actually do is have a ductless system installed, it will allow you to have greater control over individual rooms and the Mitsubishi hyper heat units go down to like -10f and will still put out some heat. They will most likely put a kumocloud on your boiler, which is essentially a duel fuel control that will switch from mechanical heat to oil heat based off the outdoor temp.
