Orthodox Christianity is the only way. Because it is true. The part people are missing in this thread is truth. You can't base your society around something that isn't true, or you will have a schizophrenic society that will fall apart under it's own contradictions. God is real, Heaven and Hell are real. That must be the starting point. Even in late stage Pagan Rome, it is well known that most of them didn't actually literally believe in the gods, they just insisted on keeping up the pretence because they knew society would collapse without worship. This set them up to adopt a religion that people believed in so strongly that they were willing to die for the promised eternal life.

Orthodoxy never insisted on globalism as an ideal. We have national multiplicity within a unity. God created the nations and the races. Heretics are the ones who are saying that baptism changes your genes I guess. There is the Bulgarian church, Georgian, Russian etc. All worshipping the one true God in their own unique expression. Us Americans are still trying to figure out what that looks like for us. It will take time. Bottom line is that anyone trying to contrive a religion to be a framework for your entire way of life and have that framework not be true is delusional.
