/co/ is gonna call me a normalfag for this but my favorite thing about Peridot is how shockingly emotionally mature she is. It's attractive and womanly. When Pearl betrayed Garnet to form Sardonyx it took like 4 fucking episodes for her to finally apologize. Peridot pissed off Amethyst, once, and felt bad despite barely knowing her, then logically assessed that she's bad at apologies and recorded her best one so she could play it back, literally the very next episode.

She then prioritized Steven's mental health when confronting the Cluster in the drill even though she doesn't have to care at all and could've just said "fuck you kid, grow a pair or we're gonna die". She's genuinely supportive and caring. Peridot lost her limb enhancers and still brain mogged the fuck out of the Crystal Gems at every opportunity. She's smarter, more mature, and more logical.
