This weekend is going to play havoc with my sleep schedule. Grrrr at F1 being in Hungary this weekend. FP3 is currently under way with qualifying starting in a little under three hours.

>Max Verstappen has confirmed he will remain with Red Bull in 2026.

The paddock has been awash with rumors and speculation for weeks over where Max would be driving - he's put some of the rumors to bed by confirming he'll remain with Red Bull Racing for the 2026 season.

Of course that hasn't put paid to the rumors that he still has performance related clauses in his contract... but it does at least settle the drivers market as we approach the summer break.

>Alonso driving with minor injury.

Two-time F1 Drivers World Champion Fernando Alonso has been dealing with a muscular injury he sustained during the Belgian GP. This forced him to sit out FP1 but he returned to the car for FP2, reporting no significant issues.

>Red Bull Racing given an official warning after Verstappen throws a towel out of his car whilst on track.

In what can only be described as glorious metaphor for his attempts at retaining his WDC this season Max Verstappen has been given an official warning for discarding a towel that had remained in the cockpit.

>Results from FP1 and FP2

Norris topped the timing sheets in FP1 finishing 0.019s ahead of Piastri, with Leclerc, Hadjar, and Hamilton rounding out the top five.

Norris topped the timing sheets in FP2 extending his advantage over Piastri to 0.291s. Leclerc, Stroll, and Alonso rounded out the top five.

FP3 is currently underway. Qualifying is scheduled to start in a little under three hours.
