Meroron is that guy who gets ultra assmad because one particular girl didn't turn his way, and she thinks Purirun OWES her scissorsex. When in fact she's just a selfish stuck-up bitch, probably the #1 bitch cure in the entire Pretty Cure franchise at this point. Rin had one famous scene but apologized and moved on. Meroron keeps doubling down over and over again on being a downright bad fucking person.

They have not redeemed her in any way, and from the looks of the episode synopsis/titles, I guess they'll just skip the redemption altogether, and just expect everyone to consider Meroron a part of the team and forgive her without any reason to. Sure, it'll work for the little 5 year-olds because they don't know any better. But anyone with a brain can see they fucked up hard in the writing department this season.
