You will eventually catch up but it's the slowest to complete story in gacha that I've seen. Each fight has a combat power requirement and even the best meta units can't fight past certain power gap. So you just have to do your dailies to get time gated resources to slowly level up your squad.
I started in November and I'm currently halfway through chapter 38 which is the newest chapter. You can easily play the game as F2P, trying to push combat power through money is incredible waste of money, just wait a little longer like everyone else. Most of the monetization is from skins.

She's decent but not really worth the 1%/overspec title. She ideally does similar damage as Rapi but unlike Rapi she's only a dps (instead of top dps+top B1 support) and she's also pretty garbage for campaign.
So basically she's nothing special while Rapi is broken.
