aside from my pages of exercises (which look deceptively good) these are a good representation of what it looks like when i (attempt) to draw an actual pic for real
one is how my sketch looks right before i start doing lines, the other is an attempt to - at least - go through the motions of finishing a drawing completely

you are very kind... thank you. i know my stuff is not that bad - but when looked at as more than the sum of its parts it is lacking appeal. these two pics took me multiple hours combined, while that sketch above >>7611503

it is undeniable that i have no (or even reverse) control over how my effort translates to "looking nice" lmao

and i wish i could translate *more* effort into more "appealing" pics to get commissions... since nobody wants to pay for a 5 minute sketch of their OC no matter how good it looks ;_;
