Meanwhile Russian translation instead rewrote phrases to make sure Kris is not referred to with any pronouns and no verbs or adjectives are attached to him since those are gendered too. They didn't kept "singular they for the person you don't know" stuff though, so Undyne instantly refers to Alphys as "she". I wonder what they are going to do with the Knight, since she is also referred as "they" but it is pretty obvious she's Dess.
