It does not look worse. It is one of the best, most honest remakes ever made.

The only downside of the remake was the shitty 30 fps for the campaign. Iirc they even gave you 60 fps for multiplayer so it’s not like it was intentional, they just couldn’t get it to run on the dogshit Xbox one.
