i have a 2005 jeep liberty that i got for free from my parents. been driving it for about 3 years, since then it has needed new tires, new shocks and struts, new transmission lines, new muffler, and this month i have to get the front end aligned so that the new tires wont warp. so far i have spent about 2300 on repairs alone, and new ones are coming up (rocker panel replacement, door rust etc) i have quite alot of money saved from my slave jobs since high school and am starting to genuinely question whether its worth it or not to purchase a new used car or continue putting money into this one.
