Some of it is pretty cool like how サプレス's 原罪 created メイトルパ's 魔獣.

According to 4, yes, funnily enough. You cook different kinds of food specific to summoned beasts only they can eat. Although I'm not sure how credible that is. Was probably only really implemented for gameplay purposes.
