Why is the FRG synonymous with Germany, internationally speaking?
It god rid off everything Germany stood for, there is literally a term for it: 'Umerziehung'.
Germany was the one country that defended western society against Fr*nch values like 'liberty' and 'democracy', stuff that the FRG pretends to be utterly committed to (not really as you can go to prison for simply questioning history but that's besides the point).
I just hate this shithole and it's such a disgrace.
Germany should have fought to the bitter end and died honorably, not go down like this.

They have done something you very rarely see an entire population being able to do which is to recognize the mistakes of the past and apologize for them. In today's world in 99% of cases you will just see countries going "it didn't happen but they deserved it".
Germany is very special in this regard and I feel like too rarely it gets the recognition and appreciation that it deserves.
This is not an ironic post btw.
