What "general art community" are you talking about? Every niche in art (especially in porn) has its own community. Diaperfur fetishists don't talk with guro fetishists and so on. Webcomic communities may have some overlap like say /co/ K6BD- and Unsounded but generally they stay in their own fandom lanes. Old Newgrounds creators have their own fanbases that might have nostalgia for Newgrounds days but they're not fans of every ex-Newgrounds creator. What is this "general art community"? Twitter is not an art community.
