The Liberator would have been good if they had actually used it for it's intended purpose. By the time the factory was geared up to make them it cost less to produce a single liberator than it cost to make the ten rounds it came with.
What they should have done:

>scatter them about like a retard
>make it abundantly obvious you're scattering them about like a retard
>no matter how many the Germans capture you know and they know and the French know that there will always be more
>all occupying forces now realise that every French peasant may now have a concealable weapon to end your life with if you get close enough and they have nothing left to lose

>that prostitute? Armed
>that "collaborator"? Armed
>that random kid on the street? Oh you better believe he's armed
>All German soldiers get too scared to leave the barracks
>morale collapses

What they actually used it for:
