there is a loud minority of retards who argue that the homestuck fandom was something that people of today missed out on, but it was shitty then, and you only have this opinion because you were 11 years old on tumblr during its peak.

i was there, and every person who read homestuck as it was coming out lost interest during the quality decline from 2012-2016. it was 70% women reading it and imagining the potential it could have, and then losing all interest as the pacing was obliterated by the slowing down of story developments, and eventually the giga pause of 2015. it was like watching a family member die of cancer, and seeing them have less and less energy.

i envy people today who can just download the collection and read the story as a complete unit. so much less bullshit.
