NTA, but cope. The Custodes process is bespoke to each and every single one of them. It's why it take so long to make any of them. They are the maximal achievement that the Emperor could produce on his own through his knowledge of biomancy. It's always been an open topic that you could have a female Custodes because unlike Space Marines, there as nothing forbidding it due to the process of their creation being wholly different. This was reinforced back in 2019 when they delve into the iterative process that the Emperor (and Astarte) took during the Unification Wars.
It started with Valdor, then the Emperor realized he couldn't make a bunch of Valdors so he worked with Astarte and others to produce the Thunder Warriors; but the Thunder Warriors (despite their incredible advantages) were riddled with a shitload of flaws; leading to Astarte being given the gene seed from the Primarchs (The Emperor made them in a secret deal with Chaos) to make the Space Marines; which used a very different process from all three. All of these different enhanced warriors were crafted in different ways through different means. Valdor hated the Space Marines, and Astarte thought they were were going to bring about the destruction of mankind.
