Titan Quest just has extremely fucked up drop distribution. 99.9% of the game is killing trash mobs, yet they drop no loot. All of the good gear is either bought from a vendor, cheesed from purple quest monsters, or farmed off a red-name boss. As a melee character, it's almost always best to use the strongest Veteran's weapon you can buy from a vendor, even a shitty mid tier Veteran's that is acts old can be better than the far majority of """legendary""" weapons. INT builds are just fucked for gear until mid-Epic and Legendary, and then all of a sudden a fountain of overpowered gear pours into your inventory. And then there's Stonebinder's Cuffs, which is a really headscratcher, taking 30 minutes to farm despite being hyper ultra god tier even when you don't factor in that it ALSO gets a prefix and a suffix and can be enhanced.
