I don't know what he had in mind when he started. I would like for them all to achieve their goals and be happy, but many of them clash or are destined to be unfulfilled. A bittersweet ending is the best I could make. Ainz achieving world domination and being regarded as a God among mortals, preserving his guild base and subordinates, sacrificing his happiness (the last human part of his soul, the desire of adventure) and forever chaining him into a position he didn't really want (mirroring his position as guild master and the erasure of identity from his original world) and unable to recreate the close relationship he had with his friends with his subordinates. He would be as alone as he was in the last days of the mmo.
