people whinging about dead game are either trolls or braindead doomers.
this game is the best competitive shooter that i've seen in probably 10 years and its in closed alpha, a relatively small roster of heroes, placeholder art, no progression. the only thing it has is the base gameplay, which is subject to change in a lot of ways, and its the most captivating, thrilling, interesting gameplay in any multiplayer game i've seen. there's a reason people are playing it even despite the low player count and bad matchmaking atm.

i work full time and this is the first time in 10 years since ive put over 400 hours in a game over the course of 6 months. its that good.
they are taking their time but they are absolutely fucking cooking. this game when it releases in a year or two will be phenomenal. im hyped

one thing i am worried about is that atm the hero priority thing is my favorite way to pick heroes in any competitive hero game so far. it takes the toxicity of instalocks and tilting shitty stubborn teammates out of the early game, but then it does mean that the team comp you end up with is basically pure chance. people keep saying that hero shooters need picks and bans and i probably agree, though that would introduce one of the more annoying parts of hero games back and i am saddened by the prospect.
