For a good while I've been wondering what it is about Genocide/Weird Route that gets people so comically upset compared to other games' "evil" routes, but now I figured it out - it's because other games' evil routes are just generic "conquest" routes, you may as well just be a powerhouse hero but frames on the other side, but Tobysoft games are the only games where you can actually be the EVIL guy, you terrorize people just because it's amusing, and people get their feefees hurt over characters calling them a monster are just gigantic pussies that can't handle being the ultimate chaddy daddy villain who stomps on the world just because they have the ability to do it
