there could be other reasons. kris is very clearly a loner kid, and has some bad baggage. kris could be avoidant of noelle (connection to trauma), or avoidant of the whole world around them (general earthbkund depression). there's not nearly enough stuff to imply that kris just really has it out for noelle.
