I always wondered how you would avoid doing this as part of a creative team. Like you need to respond to feedback obviously to improve and expand on what works, but at the same time being so obviously sensitive to real world feedback makes the world feel artificial and really brings me out of it. That might be just because I hate meta stuff in general though. Seeing something so obviously cater and react to real life does tend imo to make it feel unreal and sort of insincere and less its own little world. I imagine that’s a hard balance to reach while wanting to respond to feedback. I think it’s especially annoying for escapist stuff which mlp 100% is for me
