I think Mike was Spamton's stage name, but ever since the divorce Tenna's been treating Mike as a "role" separate from Spamton and expecting others to fill in like anyone can easily become Mike. When Tenna refers to Mike positively, he's secretly yearning for Spamton but doesn't want to admit that to himself or anyone else.
It puts "MIKE KU~N" into a new perspective. But at the same time, the way he's easily dismissive of Mike at times might hint at how he didn't fully appreciate Spamton's companionship when they were still together.
Maybe when Spamton refers to Mike positively, he's also indirectly talking about Tenna. Mike is technically this fake identity they both crafted and the one thing they're both using as proxy to talk about their past(and eachother) with fondness.
Or maybe Mike is the guy on the phone.
