Cashed out for a nice chunk of change but, two seconds later, found out that I didn't get a match from the speed dating event I attended last week. Less sad and more annoyed because issues with the event crippled my chances from the start, and the only girl who actually had the chance to reject me was pretty boring and kind of chubby. Personality far outweighs appearance for me, but obesity is a dealbreaker because of its health implications.
Time for the apps, I guess. I suppose I'll start with Hinge because that one apparently has a free version that isn't terrible. The speed dating organizer did send me and the other rejected guys some info about other events hosted by other groups, but they're pretty far off and could be just as unproductive as this one.
