What worries me most about the media hype surrounding SKG is the fact that almost all the talking heads on YouTube and other "opinion leaders" from Reddit seem to be deliberately repeating the fundamentally wrong take that this initiative is supposedly aimed at forcing publishers to support their games forever. Of course, they are told in the comments that this is fundamentally wrong, but the video has already been recorded and watched, the post has already been written and published, and then the comments can simply be closed and voila, it turns out that gamers are such assholes. I think that this shit against SKG is carefully planned from a certain stage and all the content makers in some of their general chats (in which they share advertising among themselves) receive orders on what to say and what idea to convey.
