Cure Dolly has been great for me as a companion to Tae Kim not because I’m getting more information really but because of the way she makes Japanese grammar something you can picture in your mind in a way that’s easy to remember. It’s basically the same principle behind why RTK (and all derivative mnemonics based methods) work well for firmly remembering things.

Anyone have any advice on graded readers? I’m working through Kaishi 1.5k on Anki right now and I’d like something to help practice my current level of vocab that I can use as I try to build a vocabulary bridge across the language barrier to reach Yotsuba on the other side.
