Deep focus, when everything in the frame is in focus. To be fair, the depth of field gets more shallow in rdr2 when you aim or use binoculars.

This looks great! What more are you looking to add? If I had to add some criticisms, you should cut the beam effect so it actually starts at the barrel instead of halfway through, and decide if the vehicle is still or in motion. If it's still, it shouldn't be blurry. If it's moving, the whole thing should be blurry. Turn the blur down a notch though. As for more advanced tips, remember that the closer to the camera things are, the darker they look, while background elements tend to look lighter. After that it's a matter of emulating various lens effects like depth of field, focal distance, lens shape etc
