I still haven't finished it even though I liked it... I don't know I guess the thing with the dead little girl really got to me and I just didn't feel like finishing it after that. Someday I will though. It's true the message of the show is unusual and great. The dynamic between the two mains felt real too. Maybe a bit too much even.

>Overtake absolutely was '''''problematic''''' but that was what made it so interesting
Oh I agree but I'm just saying it's not gonna help it get popular is all. If you're gonna do it but still want to be popular you need to walk with a mask on for the sake plausible normalfag deniability, like Kuroshitsuji. Overtake didn't bother though, which I respect.
>Whereas here the older guy was in some state of arrested development, he clearly (as we know from the fact he got divorced) wasn't able to handle a serious grown-up relationship, so he ends up treating Haruka as something like an equal and relying on him for emotional support and so on. He was failing to perform the "older guy" role adequately, which made their relationship very interesting, dramatically
Yep, I loved it but I remember wishing the show shat on the older guy a bit more for that. Being both a kid and a tard wrangler for an adult sucks, I know a thing or two about that and there's no way it wasn't a strain on Haruka. Then again it's been a while since I watched it and I didn't watch everything so maybe the show aknowledged it and I just don't remember/haven't watched.
