kinda. Summer is the driving force behind the B plot, a b plot that may as well not even exist. I'd say it just doesn't add anything of value, I can't even say I laughed at the jokes or the concept. Morty and his son have a very limp conclusion for their relationship, but this is the sort of thing that probably should have had the entire episode runtime to itself. Sharing time with the unremarkable B plot hurt it.
